About the authors: At the time of publication, Nancy L. Zingrone, who wrote the introduction, was the Director of Publications at the Parapsychology Foundation. Dr. John Beloff, who wrote “The Study of the Paranormal as an Educative Experience” was an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Dr. Gertrude R. Schmeidler, who wrote “Recruiting for Research,” was an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at City College of New York; Dr. Irvin L. Child, who wrote “Parapsychology in the Liberal Arts Curriculum,” was an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Yale University, Dr. Robert L. Morris, who wrote “The responsibilities of instructors in parapsychology,” was the Koestler Professor of Parapsychology in the Department of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh; and Dr. Carlos S. Alvarado, who compiled the extensive bibliography that completes the volume, was the Chairman of Domestic and International Programs at the Parapsychology Foundation.
